Arch grub2 theme

Maybe to have a patch for grub-customizer add add path support for Arch is better, I will try to contact Felix Yan later. and packages in the community and extra repository such as grub-theme-vimix, breeze-grub put the theme in /usr/share/grub/themes ,see: īoth grub-theme-vimix and grub-customizer ' package maintainer is Felix Yan update-grub2 writes main theme files path to the bootloaders configuration file. So we should reboot to see result of changes made to theme.txt or to our theme directory. Grub2 parses this file each time during boot process. It seems that most of theme packages since 2017 put grub theme in /usr/share/grub/themes. Most of Grub2 theme options are described in theme.txt. Grub2-theme-archlinux put theme in /boot/grub/theme but it's last update time is 2015 and although it has name 'theme-archlinux', it' in AUR, not in community. So I asked in the forum for help and I was told that it's not recommended to put files in /boot for secure issue. I was confused about where to put when I wrote the PKGBIULD, when I try to pyt it in /boot/grub/themes, namcap warns me. Grub-customizer will read folders in /boot/grub/themes and recognize them as themes(Debian and many other distros do in this way), while ArchWiki'example put the theme folder in /usr/share/grub/themes.
